I took these pictures several years ago exactly one week apart. We had a big snow fall on a Saturday morning and the following week it was nearly 50 degrees. The quickly melting snow helped provide a foggy morning for the second shot. They are some of the first HDR images I took and attempts to master the blending.
Each image was comprised of 3 exposures (-1,0,+1) with a fixed aperture. After the HDR was created, I used Lightroom to boost the saturation and contrast in specific areas.
I have entered the Melting Snow picture into Rangefinder's picture contest.
